My Origin:
From the bustling foundries of the West Midlands, to the intricate realms of data analytics and AI, my journey has been anything but ordinary. Early in my journey I unveiled the magic of data. As an innate pattern recogniser, I was drawn to AI and its potential to change the world. But beyond data, my personal journey saw a young man, unanchored after school, finally finding his calling, realising his mission: to improve the world, one byte at a time.

Overcoming Challenges:
Navigating the business world with dyslexia is akin to Willy Wonka being allergic to chocolate. Each day demands a mental energy that's often underestimated. Misspellings in public forums or misinterpretations of texts are just the tip of the iceberg. The underlying challenge is the mental exhaustion of constantly ensuring I've got it right.

Then there's the physical challenge. The weight of metal in my leg from a life changing accident in 2020 stands testament to a spirit that refuses to be defeated. This combined physical and mental struggle offers me a unique lens, providing a perspective that the mainstream AI community might often miss or overlook.

Core skills:
Strategy, budgeting and financial management of the Data cost centers as well as any support and maintenance / data acquisition contracts and supplier management. During my career I have gained experience designing, developing and delivering modern, sleek and powerful BI reporting solutions using Azure services including Data Factory and Data Bricks/Streaming.

Vision and Leadership:
AI, for me, isn't about apocalyptic forecasts but a beacon for human advancement. I aspire to lead with authenticity, valuing the journey as much as the destination. It's the collective strength of diverse teams, clear vision, and a hands-on approach that I believe will shape the future of data-driven innovation. Data, when harnessed ethically and responsibly, has the potential to tackle our world's greatest challenges.
